I AM smiling.
Sometimes, photographers think they can elicit a wonderful expression just by chanting, "Here, kitty, kitty, kitty!" Nincompoops. If I look stern, I'm smiling underneath. No, really. I mean, really, no, really...
Be sure to check out all the other poses I've managed by looking at all my gorgeous LeChat sheets/kits.

Printed on matte photo paper.
I mounted a piece of torn checkered paper onto a card, then attached the layers with foam pads (I cut the base image a bit smaller to fit my card.) I backed the sentiment with a leftover piece of the red and attached with foam pads.
Made corners from the blank sentiment tag and added the paper flower. I can't keep from laughing when I look at this card. I'll be making this one a lot :-)
