Beautiful Blackand White Kitten topper , PyramidCompleted by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus

I love our furry friends, and to all those who join me, this is a, "must have design", in their stash. Such a beautiful cat, and such an easy pyramid, to complete. I made a white card 29cm x 15cm and folded it. I printed off the sheet supplied twice. Once onto 80gsm copy paper, and once onto 200gsm white card.

I used the copy paper image of the full cat face within the frame to mount onto white card as my main backing sheet for the pyramid. I set this aside, while I prepared the backing sheets, for the card front.

I found this sheet music from the musical "Cats" in my piano stool, and copied the first page, onto white, light weight card. I made a black backing sheet, 13cm square, and cut the sheet music copy down to, 12cm square, and matted them together with D.S. tape. I then attached the main image, I had set aside, with D.S. tape and measured up from the lower edge of the black backing sheet, 4cm and used D.S tape, to attach, the black, with white spots, ribbon to the front of this, and round to the back of the black backing sheet. Before attaching the rest of the smaller elements, I matted together with D.S. tape, the work completed so far onto the white main card. This formed a firm base to continue building the pyramid, step by step. I used a regular, and, a fine point, black marker, to draw some musical notes and annotations, to the outside edges, of the white main card. I made a bow with the same ribbon, and attached it with the red power tape.

I used a second copy of the sheet music, to matte, onto the left hand side, of the insert. For the right hand side, I used the musical note, oval piece I had cut away, from the white 200gsm copy of the sheet supplied, to attach onto the centre, and using white glue attached my own greeting for my friend inside this oval shape. I also drew some musical notes in a fine pen.

I know my friend will just love this card as much as I did, with the time I spent, in putting it together. A beautiful card from a beautiful design. Thank you
