Gatefold Pop Up Meadow Butterflies
A pop up gatefold card suitable for a wide variety of occasions, featuring 3d butterflies in front of a field of flowers. Lovely for birthday, thank you, sorry etc.
This is a different variation on the pop up cards I've seen before. It is very quick and simple to make.
For best results, print onto photo paper, then stick the gatefold image onto card at the point outlined in the instructions below.
With a craft knife, cut along the 4 pop up tab lines.
Score between the tags and fold the 2 outer flaps inward to close the card. At the same time, ease the 2 pop up tabs forward, so that they fold in the opposite direction to the card fronts.
Stick on card, cut out and fold closed again to get clean creases.
Then simply attach the additional images and decoupage layers to the pop up tabs as shown in the photo on my first listing in this series, thank you teacher sheet. Simples! ;0) (Hopefully)

I printed off the design onto good quality photographic paper and cut it out. I scored and folded the design as per instructions. I attached the butterflies to the pop up strips using thin foam tape. A beautiful card.
I printed the sheet onto good quality white card and cut out the images. I cut along the black lines and scored to fold the card. I layered the butterflies with foam pads and attached to the card - really pretty
