Man of the Day Monochrome Plate CardCompleted by Shelagh E Osborn Wright

The design sheet was printed on Crafty Bob's 200gsm glossy paper, the small elements cut out and the plate and stand roughly cut out then glued back to back with some lightweight black card using good quality glue stick.

I cut it out once completely dry and went round the edges with black promarker.

I scored and folded down the centre of the stand,then edged all round with a very narrow plain silver peel-off border.I also edged the plate with the same narrow border.I layered with 2mm foam,adding the enjoy your day round sentiment to the plate after the football and the son label to the stand.

I completed the card by adding "ALEX"( the recipient of the card !)with black stick-on capitals. I also cut out a round insert from 120gsm white paper, and added to the back with dry glue,for a greeting.

Very easy to put together and looks quite spectacular.

A great football plate for all ages. Nice to have different family members on the sheet. Super design!
