If Music Be the Food of Love Plate SheetCompleted by Margaret McCartney

I printed the design onto good quality 255gsm photographic paper and cut it out. I cut out the design as instructed. I assembled the decoupage using thin foam tape. Using wet glue I attached the plate and the stand to white linen card.

When the glue was dry I cut out the plate and the stand. The card gives added strength. I placed a blob of silicone glue under each wing of the doves and under one wing of the butterfly to give more definition.

Using my scissors I feathered the wings of the doves using fine cuts along the length of each wing and the head feathers too.

I then added glitter to the wings and the feathers on the heads of the doves. I also added glitter to the butterfly and the centre of the ribbon. I folded the stand and sat the plate on it. A beautiful card for music lovers.
