Christmas Doves and Church Plate SheetCompleted by Margaret McCartney

I printed the design onto good quality 255gsm photographic paper and cut it out. I cut out the design as instructed. I assembled the decoupage using thin foam tape. Using wet glue I attached the plate and the stand to white linen card.

When the glue was dry I cut out the plate and the stand. The card gives added strength. I placed a blob of silicone glue under each wing of the doves. Using my scissors I feathered the wings using fine cuts along the length of each wing and the tail too.

I then added glitter to the wings and the tails of the doves. I also added glitter to the gem in the centre of the ribbon and to the silver chains on the design.

I folded the stand and sat the plate on it. A beautiful card for Christmas.
