Here is an image I played around with, I loved the effect.

I used lilac A4 cardstock, scored into 3 then, left the middle to mount main image, then used the A5 gatefold score line for the outsides, next I cut out all pieces, mounted them all straight onto the lilac cardstock.

I carefully angled the card & cut with a guillotine to create the theatre fold. To finish I added flowers, gems & peel offs.
