I printed the sheet onto glossy white photo paper and cut out all the elements. I prepared a base card by taking an A4 Centura Pearl Snow White card and trimming a couple of millimeters from the long and short side before scoring and folding in half to give a tent fold card. I took an A4 sheet of velum from my crafty stash that was pre-printed in gold with a leaf patern and folded it in half and putting as a wrap over the card. I used some roller glue pen to stick this in place in the centre at the front (behind where the image is to lie) and near the centre bottom on the back (behind where I stick my handmade by label). I stuck the base squirrel image to a perlescent sheet of paper (taup with a shimmer of silver) and trimmed to around 5mm. Then stuck the matted image to another sheet of perlescent paper (this time dark brown with a gold shimmer) and again trimmed this second mat to around 5mm larger than the previous one. The matted image was then stuck to the front of the velum on the card. I then built up the panelled pieces using 1mm deep double sided foam tape.

A lovely card that will suit a man as well as a woman.

A very cute squirrel eating a nut. Just cut out the panels and layer using foam pads or silicon glue.
