This is a delightful, soft golden, Christmas scene, for which I have made a simple centre stepper card for an eye catching view of the beautiful Christmas scene.
I have included the photograph with the instructions for this and I have also made a matching envelope.
The envelope is made from a backing sheet design, Holly paper, cup735376_16808 by Eliza Brown. I printed the sheet, provided by Nick Bowley onto white gloss paper at 17.8 x 12.7cm. I printed the holly paper onto both sides of an ivory coloured card, which gave the Holly paper a slight extra depth, and also blended very well with the elements on the sheet.
I made the centre stepper card, with using a pencil to mark the wrong side of the finished project. The holly paper printed card is cut at 25cm x 17 cm, and scored, cut and folded as the photographs indicate.
I cut out all the elements from the sheet provided, leaving the extra white margin on the bottom of the main image I used D.S. power tape to attach the main image to the high part of the step and on the front of the very lower edge of the front of the image, and then onto the inside of the fold up section of the stepper card..
I used padded D.S. tape to attach all the smaller elements and the scalloped edged main element. I also made an envelope to match using the holly paper.
I have made a tutorial for making the centre step card, and for the envelope which when finished measures 18 x 12 cm.
