Cookie Pocket - Red Rose
These Cookie Pockets are fabulous pockets in which to give the sweet gift of cookies or biscuits. They are very simple to make and you can easily add individual touches to each one.
Each pocket measures approx 4" x 4" when completed and fit a 3.5" cookie or a handful of mini cookies perfectly. Print it and cut it out, add some cellophane to the window area, glue to form pocket and you?re done.
Great for adding that special touch to birthdays, celebrations or anytime. Also on the sheet are 2 blank gift tags that could also be used for punching out shapes, such as little hearts or butterflies.

The design was printed on smooth card and cut out, including the heart shaped window. This was backed with cellophane and DST. The large rose was edged and decorated with touches of cristal stickles. The pocket was scored and folded and DST added along the side flaps. The back was folded over these to form the pocket. I have used a homebaked heartshaped biscuit, covered with red fondant and 2 small white hearts to fill the pocket. It fits well and would be great for a small romantic gift for a loved one or a get well mini gift. I folded down the top flap to close with a glue dot under the flap. One of the gift tags was fixed to the pocket front with a glue dot.
This was decorated with a silk rose leaf and crimson bud
with the stems curled and finished with a mini crimson satin bow on top. Love this design.
