Cream Wedding Invitation TeapotCompleted by Peggy Stogdill
OccasionPrinted on 200gm matte photo paper. I cut out the pieces, but left the two outside teapots connected at the outer curve of the handle.
I used an oval diecut as a base for the card, first gluing on the teacup on the left, then the front section of the teapot, and lastly, the right teacup.
When dry, I backed each cup with it's mate and then the teapot sections with their matching insert pieces. Added the decoupage and sentiment panel with silicone gel, adding a peel-off sentiment and a couple of pearl embellishments.
To finish, I used two tiny floral decoupage pieces and glued them tightly over the join in the handles, both on the front and on the inside to strengthen.
Note: I have my teapot turning the wrong way so the butterflies on the sheet were facing the wrong way.
I guess I need to give this to a left-handed person :-). In any case, it's a stunning design!
