Firstly I made an A4 card using ivory pearlescent card. I then covered this with gold pearlescent paper, then lace and pearl patterned paper that I made myself. I cut the main image and mounted it on to the backing using DST and foam pads to give the look of a book. I cut out all the decoupage elements and mounted using foam pads of varying depths. Finally I added gems, pearls and a ribbon to finish off this stunning card. (I left the two heart balloons blank, I think it would be nice to add the names of the bride and groom there!)
This is a superb design and definitely a "keepsake card".
Printed onto 200gsm glossy photo card and all elements cut out. Made a tent card from an A4 sheet of white card and trimmed to correct size. Decoupaged all elements using 2mm sticky pads. Attached decoupaged elements to main image, adding butterflies that had been firstly folded.
Added greeting and attached completed image onto tent card. A simply gorgeous design.
