Bookmark Card 17, FlutterCompleted by Debby Bloor

I printed out the relevant sheets and cut out all the pieces.

I cut out the hole where the bookmarks will go and attached the front of the card to the background with double sided tape as instructed. I then added the layers to the illusion of the rolled back pieces using sticky foam pads.

Instead of gluing the two bookmark halves together I decided to use them separately which I think worked really well. I added glitter paint to the butterflies to make them shimmer.

I chose the butterflies are self-propelled flowers sentiment basically because I loved it and just for an extra touch I added 3 coordinating tiny flowers with gems that I made.

The colours and design are really beautiful on this card and I really loved making it.
