I decided I wanted to make a card rather than a plate, so I printed the design on 180gm glossy photo paper and cut out the elements.

I glued the main front to a lilac 8 x 8 inch card blank and then cut around the shape leaving the folded edge & the back of the card intact.

A little bit of glitter pen was added to the little girl's ruffles and the edges of the leaves. After mounting the little girl's decoupage with foam dots, I glued pearls over her pearl necklace, added a gem to her ruffle, and a ribbon bow to her hair.

After adding some of the decoupage flowers, the centres got a little bit of sparkle or a pearl gem. Some gems were added to the butterfly which was mounted only down the centre so the wings were free. Some flowers were added to the inside of the back, and sentiments finished of a lovely vintage inspired card.
