Edwardian Locket multicard 3Completed by Peggy Stogdill

Reduced the size just enough to fit the 8 1/2' x 11" matte photo paper I was using. Since my paper was rather light, I made it sturdier by using spray adhesive to attach lavender card to the main card back and the easel portion only of the large piece containing the easel and white backing. When dry, I cut the pieces out, then scored the easel backing, using strong double-sided tape to attach the narrow piece at the top to the card front back, then valley folded the easel section.

Cut out the front of the locket, scored and folded the tab, and glued it to the inside of the locket, covering it with the blank locket base. Added a die-cut Thank You and a bit of the floral design to this base.

Rubbed the areas of the outer edges of the card to the narrow side of the gold roping with purple craft chalk to barely tint the outer edges of the card.

The bottom of the card may be lifted to write a message on the blank portion of the easel, if desired. Finished by decoupaging the six gold buttons and several layers of the flowers across the locket, with each layer getting smaller. A beautiful, fun and interesting card, with lots of options.
