Its a Beautiful Day- Hanging Oval Plaques TrioCompleted by Tracey Drage-Baillie

I printed this lovely kit out on 210gsm white card and cut out each heart and it's corresponding decoupage elements one at a time. I chose to use all of them. I inked the edges of the flowers and certain leaves with a silver pigment ink and gave them a little extra dimension just by shaping them with my fingers.

I built up the decoupage using foam pads and to finish off I used Glossy Accents on some of the 'gems' and also on the flower centres. I also used Nuvo pearls on the berries in 2 different colours as well as on the flowers.

I wanted to keep the calming feel about this 3D Hanging Kit so I decided to go with the Raffia instead of ribbon for the lacing and I also tried to colour co-ordinate the eyelets for the lace-holes within the ovals too.

This really is a wonderful 3D kit to make with endless possibilities on how you want to decorate each oval and looks lovely once hung up.
