I printed the design onto 255gsm photographic paper and the insert onto 160gsm paper and cut these out. I scored and folded the top handle on the back panel and attached the front panel to this above the score line using strong double sided tape.
The card now stands like a tent. I attached the insert to the inside of the card using double sided tape. I assembled the decoupage using thin foam tape. I added a blob of silicone glue under the wings of the butterfly to give more definition. I added the greeting using thin foam tape.
This gorgeous design comes with three matching gift tags. It will fit nicely into a 6 x 6 envelope.
I printed all parts onto 200gsm matte photo paper, and printed an extra insert onto 160gsm paper for the underside of the front.
I cut out the parts, scored and folded as explained.
I glued front to back and attached the inserts using wet glue, I decoupaged with foam tape and glue gel.
I added a greeting and personalised tag( printed using my "paint" programme) with foam tape. I have used clear wink of stella to give the butterflies a pretty shine and embellished their heads and the greeting with tiny purple gems.
This is such a pretty design!
