I attached a mat of co-ordinating paper onto a fancy edge 10x7 card blank, curved the pages of the topper to look like pages of a book, added two ribbon tails (for the book marks) and mounted using 3d foam.I used glue gel to give shape to the decoupage elements and embellished with a matching bow, dazzler and some crystal gems....just stunning!
I printed the design onto good quality photographic paper and cut it out. I scored and folded an 8 x 8 card landscape. I attached the design to the card using double sided tape down the spine of the book. I trimmed any white card still showing.
I assembled the decoupage using thin foam tape. I shaped the skirt of the dress with my fingers then added foam tape to the outside edges only. I did this for each layer. This makes the skirt look full. I added the greeting using thin foam tape.
