1950's City Girl Mini Kit
A pretty lady in a 1950's style dress, with a flared skirt & petticoats, holding on to her hat in the breeze. She has a city street scene behind her.
This stunning mini kit makes an 8 inch square card & includes 2 sheets, one with the card front & 5 matching greeting tags The other has easy to cut out decoupage layers to make a very special card. The deep layers will make the skirt really stand out & you could add a bit of lace or broderie anglaise to make it even more luxurious!
The tag greetings are:
"Happy Birthday"
"Best Wishes"
"Special Daughter"
"With Love" and one left blank for your own greeting or name.
Tip: put sticky tape instead of foam pads at the waist of the skirt to keep it flat & make the bottom of the skirt flare out.

I made the image slightly smaller, decoupaged the topper with 3d foam, layered on to blue mirror card, then on to silver mirror card and then mounted on to an 8x8 square blue mirror card.
Finished off with a layered sentiment and rhinestones in the corners of the main topper.
I printed the design onto good quality photographic paper and cut it out. I scored and folded an 8 x 8 scalloped edged card. I attached the design to card using double sided tape. I assembled the decoupage using thin foam tape.
I shaped the skirt of the dress with my fingers then added foam tape to the outside edges only. I did this for each layer. This makes the skirt look like it is blowing in the breeze. I added the greeting using thin foam tape.
