1950's Bird Lady Mini Kit
A pretty lady in a 1950's style dress, with a flared skirt & petticoats with matching sun hat & gloves, reaching out to a dove.
She is framed by flowers.
This mini kit makes an 8 inch Square Card, with card front & easy to cut out decoupage layers to make a very special card.
The deep layers will make the skirt really stand out & you could add a bit of lace or broderie anglaise to make it even more luxurious!

I printed the design onto good quality photographic paper and cut it out. I scored and folded a 6x6 scalloped edged card. I attached the design to the card using double sided tape. I assembled the decoupage using thin foam tape.
I shaped the layers of the skirt with my fingers and then added foam tape to the edges only. This gives the skirt more definition. I added the pink flower to her hat using silicone glue. I added glitter to the centre of the flowers. A gorgeous card that can be used for many different occasions.
I printed both sheets on to paper. Mounted the topper on to a punched mat, then on to a black card. Layered all elements, adding a feather beneath the flowers. Some pearls in the centre of the flowers add the finishing touch.
A gorgeous kit, easy cutting out, with stunning results.
