Pretty Pots Card Mini Kit - Vintage Roses
Card shaped like a ceramic pot decorated with beautiful vintage roses. The kit has 2 sheets which include the card front and back, insert, decoupage and sentiments. There are 2 sentiments, Happy Birthday and With Love, or a blank tag for your own message.
The finished card is approximately 8" x 5.5" and fits an A5 envelope. It is very simple to make and instructions are included.

I printed the card front and back sheet on 250gm matte photo paper, and the insert sheet on lighter weight matte photo paper.
I printed a pretty vintage backing sheet on the back of the main sheet (the green version of cup531777_1298).
Instead of gluing the insert to the card back, I left a tab of the paper across the top when I cut it out and used dst to stick it to the card back so it was only attached at the top.
This left the insert loose, like a separate page. I used very narrow dst and variegated metal leaf to gild the base of the jar, the top and the knob.
Added the decoupage with silicone gel and glued a sentiment near the bottom of the insert (I just couldn't bear to cover up any of the gorgeous design on the front).
An awesome design, really, really beautiful, and so quick to make.
I printed the design onto good quality 255gsm photographic paper and the insert onto 160gsm paper and cut these out.
I scored and folded the design as instructed. I assembled the decoupage using thin foam tape. I attached the insert to the inside of the card using double sided tape.
I attached the front panel to the back panel using strong double sided tape. A gorgeous card and so easy to make.
I printed this onto 200g paper and added an extra sheet to back the front for extra support. I used foam pads for the decoupage and added some glossy accents to look like water falling from the flowers.
Very pretty card.
