I reduced the size to half and printed the front and back on good quality card 250gsm and the beautiful insert and decoupage on matte photo paper 180gsm.
I cut out all the elements and glued the insert to the inside back.
I attached this to the front by scoring 1" from the top making a slight valley fold and using glue paste to adhere the front and back together.
I assembled the elements with foam pads. I used the sentiment tag inside the card.Absolutely stunning design that stands beautifully on it own and without having to use an accordion fold lets you add your sentiments to the inside of the card.
This is a very easy card to cut out as Julie has put lighter elements onto a shaded area or outlined around elements.Beautiful!
I printed the design onto 255gsm photographic paper and the insert onto 300gsm card and cut these out. I scored and folded the base card one third from the top. I attached the insert to the inside of the base card using double sided tape.
I assembled the decoupage using thin foam tape. I attached the front of the card to the back, above the score line, using strong double sided tape. Printing the insert onto 300gsm card gives more support and it stands easily.
I added glitter to the sprinkles on the cupcakes and a blob of silicone glue under one wing of each butterfly to give more definition and to complete this gorgeous card.
The greeting could be attached to the card or used as a matching gift tag.
