I imported the design into a Word document and printed it onto 255gsm photographic paper and cut it out. I flipped sheet one to give a reverse image and printed this onto 300gsm card. I cut out the plain shoe and this now serves as a back to the shoe.

I scored the 300gsm printed shoe at the top of the heel and attached the main shoe image to it so that the shoe stands on its own.

I assembled the decoupage using thin foam tape. I added some silicone glue under the wings of the butterflies to give more definition. I added the greeting to the bottom of the heel of the shoe and this ensures the shoe sits more upright.
