Beautiful Vintage DressCompleted by Rae Trees

I have used the design as a keepsake and not a card. I resized to half the size and cut out all the elements. I attached the front and back together with glue paste.

I cut a small strip of acetate and glued this at the top between the front of the dress and the dress without sleeves.

I've only glued the bodice together and just let the skirt fall free after shaping to give a full effect.

I had cut off the bottom piece of the dress so that I only had the front and back bottom sections, with the piece I cut off the top skirt I used to cover the inside bottom so no white is showing.

I cut a piece of acetate and used this to the inside bottom sections forming a bar between the two so that the dress stands on it's own beautifully.

The piece of acetate at the top of the dress I've used to put the hat on and a small butterfly.I assembled the elements with foam pads.This is a beautiful design that you can do a lot with.

My Granddaughters like them as ornaments for their rooms, but it would also make a beautiful card .
