Once I had imported the design into a graphics program to add a verse onto an inverted insert (so the flowers were at the bottom), I printed all the sheets onto 180gm glossy photo paper.
I selected the elements I wanted to use and cut them out.
There are a lot of straight edges so that makes it quicker. I started by mounting the background with dst onto a bright blank. Using the main image as a guide and the layers as labelled, I mounted each of the layers with foam dots until I got to the top layer.
As there were multiple choices of fronts, I used a blank front and added the word mum using sticker letters.
I added the decoupage flowers, pearl gems and and a paper flower to complete the card. As I still had a main front image I mounted this using dst onto a turquoise card blank and added one of the tops with a verse using foam dots.
Using glue I added my own flowers and some crystal gems in place of the brads. For the insert mounted this to the inside using dst, then added some paper flowers and butterflies to complete the cards.
This is a great design and a real bargain as you can get multiple cards out of the one print off and they can all be for different occasions - Mother's Day, Female Birthday, even a Thank You card!
