Geranium - Gate Folded EaselCompleted by Jane Williams
A really lovely card, but certainly not fast or easy!
I got mine printed by Craftsuprint on their paper.
There are instructions, and a view of what the end product is supposed to look like. Several main parts, and a lot for the decoupage.
Warning: it isn't just the "pocket" that has flaps, the main picture that you put the decoupage on does, too. I missed that :(
I cut out all the main parts and used a dark felt-tip to cover the white cut edges.
Then I did the same for the decoupage, assembling as I went with foam pads. Warning: there's a lot of layers, and it's very detailed indeed. Dimensional glue might have been better than the pads. Some of the tiny fiddly bits I had to abandon, and there's one area of leaves and thin stems where I haven't cut out the white background, I took a pen and coloured it to try to match the background instead. Some of the foam pads also got their edges coloured with a dark pen.
Assembly: the instructions are good, though you do need to be very precise about matching the side panels to the main body. Once folded, it's quite "fat" if you've used foam pads, and the strip to hold it closed isn't quite long enough. If you're doing your own printing, this is easily remedied, but personally I lengthened it with a strip of white card.
Several additional photos below to show it open, closed, from the side...
