General Greeting 17Completed by Peggy Stogdill
OccasionPrinted on heavyweight matte photo paper (I didn't print the page with the origami corner and instructions). If your paper is not quite heavy, I'd suggest gluing two sheets together so the card is firm, not floppy.
I carefully cut out the card front and back, matched them together and used two large peel-off corners as hinges. (I hinged the right side as it was nearly straight, whereas the left side wasn't). I used strong glue on the back of the peel-offs to make sure they would stay put.
Covered the square scene portion and flowers, then sprayed the bottom of the card with Gold Glitter Dust to soften the look of the white areas. Added the decoupage with silicone gel, cutting the layers for depth--for example, I left the leaves on the first layer only, the flowers and most forward buds on the second layer, and just the most forward rose on the third layer. I added one of the small layers to the bottom, left of center and glued one of the large layers to the card back. Finished with dots of glitter glue on the flower stamens and added pink and lavender Flower Soft to the tiny flowers in the scene. This is design is SO gorgeous!!
