Cream Lilies Garden Scene 3D Mini KitCompleted by Taina Kankare

My task was to make a First Communion congratulation card for a boy. I had taken a photograph of the church, but I needed something extra around it. This Cream Lilies Garden Scene suited my purposes excellently.

I printed the front page once and the inner page twice, the other one as a mirror image. I cut the garden view from the front page and attached my church tower in place of it. Then I attached my card front on a beige folded card base. I had found a suitable picture of a boy from the CUP Prom Night Hector tube set.

I printed it and cut it out and attached into the card front. From another CUP sheet I found a bible and yet from another a cream rose. I printed them and cut them out and attached into the card, on top of the chair. Before I printed the inner sheets, I had written verses (in Finnish) into them.

I attached the inner sheets into the card and decorated them with photographs of the family pets, cream roses, ribbon bows and pearls.

I did not make the cards as instructed, because this way I got more room for my own additions to personalize the card.

This also shows how versatile this card really is. You can use it in many, many ways.
