I printed the backing paper onto 300gsm card then fed it back through the printer to print the box on the reverse.
I cut, scored and folded the box as expected. I printed the rest of the design onto good quality 255gsm photographic paper and cut it out.
I assembled the box using strong double sided tape. I added the back panel to the inside of the box using double sided tape. This hides the join. I added the crossbars using strong double sided tape. Using strips of acetate I attached the flowers and the leaves to the crossbars using strong double sided tape.
I added the tops to the flaps using double sided tape. I added the greeting flap using double sided tape. I added the flowers to the flaps using thin foam tape. I added the age numbers using acetate. This gorgeous card will fold flat for posting.
I printed out onto 240 gram card ,cut ,scored and folded were needed ,joined using strong DST ,then attached sentiment and flowers with sticky pads.
