Blue Roses Cutout Easel Mini KitCompleted by Taina Kankare

Occasion
Birthday / Birthday Floral

I printed all the Blue Roses Cutout Easel Mini Kit parts on a normal copy paper, which was, of course, too sloppy for this kind of card. After two "flip-flap-flop" failed frames I realized how I can make a sturdy and neat card base and frame.

I cut a long narrow piece from an A3 carboard sheet. The height of the piece was a bit over twice the height of the base. I attached the base into the lower part of it (without the tab) and folded the cardboard above the base. Then I attached the first frame sheet (with insides left) with two sided tape on the upper part of the cardboard. After this I folded the card base again and trimmed all excess away. After this I attached the other framed sheet (with inside left) into its place. Next I cut the insides out and neatened the supporting frame with black felt pen.

Next I attached the arch in a piece of cardboard the same way. I trimmed the edges and added the other arch into the other side. After this I removed the inside parts and used the black felt pen again. I folded the supporting frame and attached the arched frame in it. Next I attached the flower arrangement (attached on a piece of cardboard) into it. I also added all the decoupage parts and an empty sentiment tag. As a finishing touch I added some glossy accent into the card.
