I printed the sheets on 170gm matte photo paper, printing two copies of the main card.

I cut out both copies, then glued two-inch long narrow strips of the photo paper scraps over the card spines on the back of one copy to strengthen the "hinges", and finally attached the two cards back-to-back with a glue stick (this covered the paper strips).

When dry, I trimmed the outer edges as needed, then colored the cut edges with a Krylon metallic gold marker.

The pyramage and sentiment were added with silicone gel, and I finished with some gold Liquid Pearl dots.

It isn't necessary to cover the inside of the card as I did, but it makes it extra special. This is an absolutely gorgeous design from a painting by much-loved vintage artist, Catherine Klein-my favorite.
