Roses for a Friend
Approx 7.5 x 7.5 Topper with pink and yellow Roses, matching Gift Tag,
Decoupage, 7 Sentiments plus a blank, blank matching Insert plus an Insert with a birthday verse
which reads as follows:
It seems we seldom
tell the people
who are close to us
and really mean the most to us
how very much
they mean to us all year.
The days fly by so quickly,
it feels that sometimes
there's little time
to say the things
that are really important...
things like how wonderful you are,
how much you mean to the lives
of those around you,
and how much you're thought
of on your birthday and every day.
Happy Birthday

I printed the card front, decoupage and gift tag onto glossy photo paper and the insert onto plain paper. I cut out all the elements. I created an 8 in card from 300 gsm white card and added silver mirri card leaving a narrow border of white.
I added deep pink card on top of the silver, again leaving a narrow border and finally added the card front.
I scored and folded the gift tag and added the decoupage elements using foam pads. For the blue butterfly, I scored either side of the body and folded up the wings before affixing to the card front with tacky glue.
