Shaped Vintage Easter Easel Mini Kit-5

This is an Easel vintage Easter card, there are a few in the set. At this time of uncertainty, and enforced family time, there is time to play, so though I havent completed this card as the designer intended, I hope to show you another way for completing the card to give you some inspiration. The card base sheets were printed on 300 gsm super smooth card, and the decoupage layer on a matte photo paper.

Using a landscape A5 card blank, (15 x 42 cm), and using it in portrait mode, allowed me to expand on ideas for this card shape. I took the Card front, the easel base, and the easel back covers, and created a large card front by gluing the easel base, and the easel backing together, end to end, which creates a 24.5 cm x 17.25 cm card front. I used the back sentiment section on the front of the card, and mounted my sentiment, before adding the easel card front and its decoupage. I then mounted this to the card base, and trimmed the decorative edge to match. So although this card does on first look, does seem exactly as the designer intended, it isnt an Easel card but an oversized decorative tent fold card. I used some crackle glaze on the egg, and added some small blue square gems to finish.
