I printed onto glossy photo paper and scored as the directions indicate. Then I cut out the pattern pieces. I put down a gel like glue where indicated in order to attach the pop up to the card insert.
I also added red lace all around for a color splash and hide seams. Attached the bows and added the front to the card. No other card stick was used as the photo paper stood up nicely when layered. Front of card is seen here picture #2.
