I printed the sheets on heavy weight matte photo paper, cut out the pieces, and assembled the card according to the tutorial.

I used a glue stick to add the writing panel to the back and the reinforcing strip behind the front piece and strong dst to put the two sides of the card together.

I used silicone gel for all the decoupage, but I think I used too much on the tree, as I shaped it quite rounded before putting it together, which required a lot of silicone down the center of the pieces.

This made it rather heavy and it didn't want to stand up as it should. BUT, a flat popsicle stick glued to the back of the tree, extending to the bottom of the card, took care of the problem perfectly.

I embellished with holographic "stars", a bit of glitter on the tree, silver tinsel and a bow, and pearl "cabinet knobs".
