A 3 sheet kit. I printed this image off onto Matte Photo paper, and I do tend to un-tick any !fit to Frame" boxes, so my image was printed suitable for a 6x6 inch card.

I tend to work on 8x8 inch cards, that's my preference, so this left plenty of room for my mats and layers.I covered the cut edges with Fired brick Distress ink, before matting onto a matte Gold layer, then pearlised white, and then pearlised red for the base layer.

The gold frame is an optical illusion, and is simply some gold foil paper strips mitred into a frame on the pearlised red card stock.

I added gold pva dimensional drops to the holly berries, and some glaze to the nose and tree lights, before finishing with a red bow and red fabric button and the matching insert.

A lovely little card that you can take as far as you like,
