Merry Christmas Diorama Card Completed by Darlene Handorff
OccasionI've not made a Diorama card before and this one really caught my eye so here it is. I printed the pattern pieces onto good photo paper and the last page the full sheet onto good white card stock.
I followed the instructions given on the video and cut and scored the pattern pieces first. You need to be sure cutting and the folds are done correctly. I guess I will be sure everything fits and folds correctly before adding the permanent glue or tape.
Had to fiddle mine as I made an error on the cut but it did work so just test your card first.
It's worth it. There is a good video on masking this card to watch. You start with the middle piece and attach to the photo scene back. I did all the glam on the trees in the middle first and added lots of glitter all around.
Then added the front of the Diorama and embellishments. I used the last page and cut it down to work as back scene by glueing it to the back side of Diorama.
The back scene which I cut to use extended to 3 inches on both left and right and scene makes the card 6 inches tall.
This made a very special card and once you make one you can ride your bicycle too so easy. xoxo
