Printed onto a linen photo card which makes it look like watercolour. Mounted onto purple mirri card then onto white card blank using DST. Assembled decoupage using 2mm foam pads then finished with lilac gems & cream pearls for the baubles.
I printed the sheet on quality cardstock and cut out all the elements. I used foam pads for the decoupage and double sided tape to adhere the card front to a blank, lilac card.
The butterflies were glued only at their bodies and their wings were folded upwards.
To complete the card I used purple ribbon for the ties and attached a small purple bow at the top of each tie with a glue dot.
This design is an easy to cut and assemble card with beautiful non-traditional Christmas colours.
