Dark Christmas

The image was printed on satin photo paper. The image was attached to a 7 x 7 inch card using dst. The large decoupage layer was attached to the card using dst and the remaining decoupage layers attached using glue gel.

The smaller image was mounted on to 250gsm white card using dst to create a gift tag.

Dark Christmas - approx. card size - 7 in. x 5 in. - Sheet printed onto quality matte photo paper.

Card elements trimmed, white base cardstock used, selected black as background, glued topper onto dark red then onto the black.

Layered with double sided mounting tape.

Added multi-size black diamond adhesive gems. Added sentiment tag. Card includes matching envelope and gift tag.

I waited nearly a year to make this wonderful card

I used Black Card and printed the design onto matt photo paper

I decoupaged the picture and backed this with white glitter card

I used a strip down the edge of the card and edged with black stick on gems

I gave it the gothic treatment with red roses and the gothic style font for the greetings

Finished off with stick on pearls for the little christmas effect

Printed on to 160gsm silk card and cut out all the elements. I layered the topper on a design paper of my own and added lace down one side. I used glitter pens to highlight areas of the design and a fabric bow to complement the colours in the kit.
