I printed the design onto good quality 255gsm photographic paper and cut it out. I scored and folded the base of the card and cut out the centre white area and then cut out the slits on the back and the front of this part of the card.

I cut out the slits on the shelf, folded the tabs at the back then threaded it through the two slits on the base card.

I assembled the decoupage on each part that fits through the slits on the shelf remembering to cut the tabs were indicated.

This makes it easier to pass though the slits and remember to unfold them on the underside so that they will stay in place.

You only cut where there is a solid line and fold on the dotted line on each tab. I added the greeting using thin foam tape. I added the message panel to the back of the card using double sided tape. These designs will fit into a large envelope for posting. Gorgeous card when finished.
