I printed the outside of the card and the inside and mechanism onto good quality 200gsm photographic paper and cut these out.

I scored and folded the base card as instructed. I then scored and folded the internal mechanism and assembled as instructed.

I attached the mechanism as instructed to the inside of the card using strong double sided tape. I didn’t print the inside liner of the card as it would take too much ink so I attached a similar coloured paper to the inside of the card using double sided tape.

I attached the paper to the left side of the inside of the card and then attached another piece to the right hand side of the inside of the card.

I folded the insert with panel attached to the inside of the card and used double sided tape on the outside edge only on each side.

This allows the card to fold easily and not be too bulky.

I enjoyed learning another skill when making this card as I had not made one like this before.
