I reduced the size to half and printed the design on good quality card 250gsm for the back and front and 180gsm for the decoupage.
I scored down about 1" from the top on the back and added glue paste to the score line on the inside back to secure the back and front together.
I assembled the elements with foam pads and added some coloured gems. Beautiful design.
I printed the design onto good quality 255gsm photographic paper and the back of the design onto 300gsm card and cut these out.
I scored and folded the back of the card about one inch from the top.
I attached the front of the card to the back above the score line using double side tape. I attached the insert to the inside of the card using double sided tape. I assembled the decoupage using thin foam tape. I added the greeting using thin foam tape. Using 300gsm card allows the card to stand easily.
This gorgeous card comes with a matching gift card and an extra topper to make another card. Excellent value for money.
