Teddies Delivering Presents 8x8 Mini Kit

A large card 41cm x 21cm,I printed this sheet out in full size in Light card twice.as I wanted to use all the pieces in the decoupage twice.

I cut out all the elements and attached the second main smaller topper sheet discarding the red outer edge and buttons. I then used red doubled machine thread to stitch 1cm interval running stitch around the square edge. I made up the teddy decoupage using small and medium D.S foam squares, then decoupaged all the visible stars. One is to be hidden with the sentiment. I attached 2 layers of buttons together with wet glue and allowed to dry before sewing them together as attached buttons, then attached them with tiny D.S foam dots. The card itself is 2 layers One patterned light Christmas tree printed card and one heavier white card. I had to make a join which is covered by the topper and the insert. I attached the finished topper to this and before adding the Christmas tree paper insert I attached a gold edged 1cm red ribbon to the left edge, adhered with D.S Tape to the inside of the card and the sentiment like a hanging label to the top of the card with holes punched where it was marked. The insert is the same Christmas tree paper and covers up the joins and the inside ribbons.

It looks like a cushion when finished like this. A bright delightful card for any child with plenty of alternative sentiments to choose from.
