This 8x8 card base was perfect for this design. After gluing a square of deep purple card edged will peel offs, I added a square of pastel pink card.

The design was placed in the middle and both holly bundles were layered with foam squares as well as the chosen sentiment provided.

To add interest I cut out the space around the deer and placed a pastel design of snowflakes behind before gluing the main image.

Inside I used some purple vellum to create a larger insert before sticking the printed insert in the middle.

Unusual colours to use but they seemed to enhance the deer. Such a cute design, sure to bring a smile to the recipient
