A multi sheet kit, which forms a year calendar based on our favourite Whovian, the Doctor. I printed onto 250 gsm matte photo card stock, for stability, bearing in mind that each piece has a corresponding backing sheet, so in reality we are looking at 500gsm. I cut each piece out, leaving the tops of the parts still attached, and lined up using the sides and bottom edge, before trimming the top piece once it was all glued, to reduce any mishaps or shortcomings with matching the pieces back up again. Then I edged it all with Chipped Sapphire Distress ink to hide any white edges, and have only added some pearl drops and some glaze to the Dalek and Tardis decoupage layers. Tips for assembly, glue the front pocket to the back of the calendar front, before adding the back panel to hide the workings.

All in all a quick project, one that most boys of all ages would appreciate.
