Box Side Aperture Card - Boy Christening
This is one of my new series of Box Side Aperture cards.
The cards have a 3D box on one side with a panel sandwiched in the centre. The panel has decoupaged rectangles on each side (front and back), which stick out of the right hand side of the box.
On the bit which is sandwiched in between the front and back of the box you hang your "dangler".
The whole card folds flat for posting and measures approx. 6 inches by 4 inches when flattened.
The sides of the "box" are decorated so that there is something to look at whichever side you look from - front, back, left or right.
This card is for a boy's christening. It has images of a cross, a bible, baby shoes, a hand holding rosary beads and on the sides of the "box" there is gold lettering spelling out the word "CHRISTENING".
The background paper is pale blue and decorated with crosses.
There is a greeting on the back of the dangler.

I printed out onto a quality card and cut out the apertures with a craft knife I then glue together with glue gel and added 2 blue faux bows to the front
Printed all sheets twice, once onto white card and once onto matte coated paper. I glued the matte coated ones onto the white card. I followed the very easy instructions. instructions
