Handbag Gift Box Christmas Floral with Poinsettia & Holly
Handbag Gift Box Christmas Floral with Poinsettia & Holly Decoupage
This quick and easy handbag Gift Box Mini kit, is from my Gift Box Collection and is an original template that I have designed. Each mini kit contains 3 sheets and includes a Poinsettia & Holly Decoupage embellishment for the Handbag Flap. Ribbon is used for the Handbag Handle and to attach the Gift Tags. The ribbon fixings have been totally hidden within the template making the finished Handbag Gift Box a very professional looking product!
The finished Gift Box is a good size that will easily hold a gift of a Full set of Beaded Jewellery or homemade chocolate truffles etc. Please see the Tutorial, for detailed measurements, by clicking on the Mortarboard Icon.
A full photographic tutorial is included. To see other designs available in my Handbag Gift Box Mini Kit Collection, please click on my photo or name and enter Handbag in my search box. I printed the design onto good quality 255gsm photographic paper and cut it out. I scored and folded each side of the bag as instructed. I assembled the bag using strong double sided tape.
I punched two holes where indicated on the top flap and threaded pink organza ribbon through the holes to create the handle.
I threaded the gift tags through the handle and then I secured the handle using strong double sided tape on the underside of the flap.
I then added this flap to the bag as instructed using strong double sided tape. To secure the flap I use a magnetic fastener.
I added the poinsettia and Holly using silicone glue hiding the fastener underneath. Another gorgeous bag from Sue.
