I put a 7 x 7 card through my printer and printed the backing paper onto both sides. I printed the rest of the design onto good quality 255gsm photographic paper and cut it out. I attached the insert to the inside of the card using double sided tape.

I then cut away any surrounding card to suit the insert. I attached the front of the card using double sided and then I cut around the front of the card to match the design.

I did not need to use the tab to attach the front of the card to the insert.

I attached the butterflies to the front using thin foam tape under one wing only. Printing the backing paper onto card in the first instance means you have no white areas showing either inside or outside the card.
