The design was printed on quality cardstock and the decoupage was done with foam pads. I traced the back piece on folded cream copy paper (fold along the top edge of purse) for the insert and cut along the lines.

I then folded the top of the back piece about a ½” from the top, put glue on it and attached the insert.

Then I glued the front to the front of the insert and finally, I glued the inside of the insert, at the top, inside the ½” space.

To complete the purse I added two Citrine rhinestones.

This may sound complicated but it truly wasn’t – it is just difficult to put into words. You will be proud to give this gorgeous, unique card to the celebrated recipient.
