Blue Rose Folded Faux Book Mini Kit

Printed all sheets except the sheet with the interlocking pieces on to good quality glossy photo paper ( printed two sheets with back piece ) and the one with the interlocking pieces on to good quality card stock.

I then cut and make this card up in steps.

I used a fast drying wet glue to put this card together. Step one: cut out the bottom and the first two bumps on the back pieces, then glued the wrong sides together and set aside.

While this is drying I cut out the front of the card and scored and folded where directed.

Step two: cut out the joined back piece and glued it to the front piece. Set aside. Step three: scored and cut out the interlocking pieces and attached them together with short side, long side, short side, long side.

Set this aside to dry. Cut out the 3d pieces and attached them together using foam pads.

Step four: fold along the scored lines starting on the bottom (dark edge ) with a mountain fold, then continued with valley fold, mountain fold till it is all folded.

Opened this up and attached last two interlocking ends together and folded at the seams making a box. Step five: attached the box to the back piece along the pearls. Step Six: added all the 3d pieces and the card is finished.

Looks complicated but it is very easy when you make it in steps. Lovely card.
